After restarting Tiger, use the virtual DVD drive to connect the installation disk 2 to the installation disk. The upgrade to Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11 Combo Update (Intel) from the Apple support site is required. Once the installation is complete, you can eject the installation DVD and boot into your new virtual machine. Start the virtual machine and follow the on-screen instructions to install Mac OS X Tiger. Mount the Mac OS X Tiger installation DVD in the virtual machine. Create a virtual hard drive of at least 8 GB in size. Allocate at least 512 MB of RAM for the virtual machine.
Choose the type of operating system you want to install as “Mac OS X” and the version as “Mac OS X Tiger (10.4)”. Start VirtualBox and create a new virtual machine. The whole process should take less than an hour. Once you have those two things, you can simply create a new virtual machine in VirtualBox and start the installation process.
You need to have a copy of the Mac OS X Tiger installation DVD and a computer with a CPU that supports hardware virtualization. Installing Mac OS X Tiger on VirtualBox is pretty simple and straightforward.
